Description: The Stream Conservation Area (SCA) is described in the 2007 Marin Countywide Plan (CWP) under the Program Goal Bio-4. The SCA is a zone within a setback (buffer) from banks of streams, spatially described in the 2007 CWP pages 2-31/32. For streams we use the NHDFlowline feature class (from the Federal National Hydrography Dataset (NHD)): FType of Connector, CanalDitch, StreamRiver, ArificialPath {querying features "[FType] IN (334, 336, 460, 558)"} ). There are two groups of setbacks: 1) a combination of 40, 70, 120ft from stream center line (compensating for CWP specified 20', 50', 100' resp. setbacks from bank) in the City Center Corridor (CCC) 2) 120ft buffer from stream center line (compensating for 100' from bank) of streams in Marin for the Coastal, Inland Rural and Baylands Corridors.
